Once again the Central Chapter of the New York State Society of Professional Engineers will be
sponsoring scholarships for Central New York high school seniors planning on attending a college engineering program in the
fall of 2007. The deadline for receipt of the application is February 16, 2007. The application may
be downloaded from this web site.
To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must attend an engineering program at a university
or college that has been accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering
and Technology (ABET – EAC). For information

Students may also apply for the national engineering scholarships handled by the National Society
of Professional engineers, and are encouraged to visit the following web site for more information: http://nspe.org/scholarships/sc1-hs.asp.
Note the application submission also requires a transcript from the high school. Please
